This delicious BerryNana Rama smoothie is packed with nutrients and one of nature’s best superfoods – Blueberries!

It makes a great fulfilling brekkie or an on-the-go pick me up in the afternoon. I often make up a batch in the afternoon and then keep it in the fridge for breakfast the next morning – if the kids don’t get to it first!

Throw this all in a blender and whizz it up!

  • Handful of ice
  • 1 frozen banana (you can use fresh also, I just prefer the iciness that frozen provides)
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts
  • 2 tablespoons of stabilised wheat germ *
  • 2 cups of coconut milk**
  • Squirt of honey (to taste)
  • Cinnamon (to taste)

*Stabilised wheat germ is packed full of awesome nutrients, fibre and has many health benefits. But if you have a sensitive tummy and don’t do well with wheat, substitute it for LSA mix or omit altogether

**Coconut milk refers to the stuff in the tetra packs, not the stuff in the tins.
